Pacific Bridge Construction, a division of Pacific Bridge Trading (Canada) Ltd., has been serving the Lower Mainland since 2017. Over the years we’ve built a reputation for client-focused services, a strong work ethic, and quality workmanship. Our team works closely with our architect, interior design, engineering and sub-trade partners to provide seamless end-to-end construction project management.
PBC has extensive experience in both commercial and residential construction. On the commercial side, this includes new tenant improvements and renovations for restaurants, retail, office space and medical clinics. While for residential projects, we take on everything from single-room renovations to custom building new single-family homes.
From our very first project managing the construction of a coffee shop, we’ve always stressed the importance of strong relationships, based on open and honest communication. This starts with carefully listening to you, the client, to ensure we fully understand your vision, budget and schedule for a project. We then provide regular updates as we work to deliver your project to your exact specifications, so that you always know how things are progressing.

Pacific Bridge Construction holds a $5 million insurance certificate and has held active status and been in good standing with the Worker’s Compensation Board since its inception on May 1, 2017.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Born and raised in Osaka, Japan, Takazumi Yamagata moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2001 and has more than 15 years of experience in general contracting in the Lower Mainland. After working for a general contracting company for more than 10 years, he started Pacific Bridge Construction in 2017. He believes strong relationships – with his team and his clients – are the key to success for every project he takes on.
Taka speaks Japanese and is a member of Vancouver’s Japanese construction industry group, “Kenyukai”. He was previously on the board of this group and continues to contribute to it.
Taka calls North Vancouver home and enjoys staying in shape with local walks and exploring the community with his wife and two young daughters. He enjoys the outdoors and a variety of sports, especially fishing.
